Nickel plates play an irreplaceable role in industrial and medical fields due to their excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature stability, and conductivity. The following is a systematic analysis of its core application areas:

1、 Industrial manufacturing field

1. Stainless steel production

65% -70% of global nickel is used in stainless steel manufacturing. Nickel can form austenitic structures, significantly improving the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of materials;

Typical applications: chemical reaction vessels, building structural components, medical and health equipment;

2. Battery technology

As a positive electrode material for lithium batteries, an increase in nickel content can increase energy density, directly affecting the range of electric vehicles;

The nickel electrode in nickel hydrogen batteries provides stable electrical energy output and is suitable for electric tools and communication equipment;

3. Electroplating and surface treatment

The corrosion resistance of nickel plating is 15% -20% higher than that of zinc plating, and it is widely used for the protection of automotive parts and electronic component casings; ‌

Industrial pure nickel plate is used as an electroplating anode, with a coating uniformity of ± 0.1 μ m.

2、 High end technology field

1. Aerospace

Nickel based alloys are used for engine turbine blades and can withstand high temperature environments above 500 ℃;

The rocket propulsion system adopts nickel titanium alloy components, which have both high temperature stability and super elasticity;

2. Chemical equipment

Monel400 nickel copper alloy plate is used for reactor lining, with an annual corrosion rate of less than 0.255mm and a lifespan extension of 3-5 times.

1. Medical and health equipment

Nickel titanium alloy is used for coronary artery stents, with super elasticity 10 times that of stainless steel, suitable for vascular deformation requirements;

The orthopedic implant uses Ni36CrTiAlMo5 strip with an elastic modulus of 180GPa, which can reduce the risk of bone resorption.

2. Food processing: Nickel plate manufacturing of cutting tools, mixers and other equipment components, with corrosion resistance to ensure food safety.

Electronics industry: high-purity nickel plates for semiconductor devices, supporting the manufacturing of 5G chip heat dissipation substrates;

Energy catalysis: Nickel based catalysts are used in the hydrogen energy industry chain for electrolysis of water to produce hydrogen.
