  • Product details

Titanium spoiler strips are fluid control structures made of titanium alloy materials, primarily used to alter the flow state of fluids, enhance turbulence effects, or optimize heat and mass transfer processes. These structures are widely applied in aerospace, energy equipment, chemical equipment, and high-performance manufacturing fields. Their core function is to break the laminar flow boundary through physical disturbance, thereby improving mixing efficiency or cooling performance.

           Main features and advantages:

Material advantage: Titanium alloy is characterized by high strength, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and low density.

Fluid regulation and control capability: By designing turbulence-inducing bars with specific shapes (such as straight bars, helical shapes, trapezoidal cross-sections, etc.), the laminar flow state of the fluid can be effectively disrupted, promoting the development of turbulence, thereby enhancing heat transfer efficiency or material circulation speed.

Strong customizability of structure: The width (5-10 mm), height (1-10 mm), and number of rows (1-10) of spoiler strips can be adjusted according to actual working conditions, enabling precise flow field regulation and control.

           Typical application scenarios:

Food processing equipment: The use of turbulence-inducing ribs in soybean milk makers and blenders can reduce the circumferential rotation of the liquid, accelerate the return of the slurry to the blade area, and enhance the uniformity of crushing.

Wind turbine tower anti-vibration design: The trapezoidal spoiler ribs can reduce the vortex-induced vibration frequency by approximately 12.7 Hz, but attention should be paid to the potential decrease in fatigue strength that may result.

Titanium alloy processing technology: During the abrasive flow polishing process, the use of a flow channel with a turbulence structure can significantly improve the uniformity of surface roughness of titanium alloy curved surface workpieces.

It is worth noting that despite the superior performance of titanium spoiler strips, during the hot extrusion process, issues such as significant temperature differences between the inside and outside, and uneven deformation are prone to occur due to the poor thermal conductivity of titanium material. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly control the heating temperature range (preferably within the α or α+β phase region) and use specialized lubricants to prevent mold wear.
